Blending Trees in the far background

Hello,

This is something I’ve not had to do before and as such, I’m a little stuck on how best to sort it. I have a aerial view where I need to show a warehouse building and planting/vegetation around the perimeter.

Where the trees in the background blend to the existing, I have an issue of the background white haze coming through. Because it’s far in the distance, there aren’t many pixels to play around with when I mask it. Does anyone have any tips/tricks on this type of edit?!

Many thanks

Good morning henry1,
Good work.

I would try it this way:
I would change the white background to a green tone when rendering.
Of course, choose it so that your
image editing program can still create a mask.
In my image editing program, it is possible to remove white or black edge pixels.
Your software may also have this feature.

I would render the scene as large as possible.
More pixels mean more editing options.

I would make the green area in your scene a little more lively.
It’s definitely not an English lawn.

Bye
Andreas

Hey Andreas,

Thanks for those thoughts. I found that using the workflow where you turn on the Decontaminate colours, on the mask it blended much better.

Thanks

Hello Henry1,
I like it much better.
The grass area is now great.

It’s noticeable that all the cars are the same.
Maybe you’d like to change that.

I would make the windows of the building slightly mirrored.

I wouldn’t make the small white building next to the driveway quite so white.

The same goes for the trucks.

I assume the yellow color of the sectional doors is intentional.
One section could have windows added.

These are all minor details that aren’t really necessary.

If you leave it as it is, it’s already great.

Bye
