Black sky problem

Hello can anyone help me. The problem is the dark color of the sky and strong reflections. The model is made in sketchup, after turning on the d5 render program, everything starts to turn dark and the colors go crazy

Hi mate,

Can you send us the skp and D5 file for the test? here is the addresss:
support@d5techs.com

Did you use the converter to sync it or directly open it in D5?

At present, you can try to explode the groups of the model in skechup and make sure your model is close to 0,0,0 point.

Received, we are now checking and trying to find the problems

I just sent the model to the e-mail address provided

Hi mate, sorry for the issue caused by the problem. We checked the file and found that the model is very large and too far from the original point (0,0,0) considering its location, therefore, it exceeds the limitation of D5 Render.

Please move the model closer to the original point in SketchUp, or you can move the axis location directly. Also, you can move the model’s position to 0,0,0 in D5 Render, then decrease the model size.

Besides, if possible, please divide the model into several parts, then import into D5 separately, this may also work.

And from your screenshot it seems the model is imported through D5 Converter, and you can using direct import instead.

We are also looking into this issue and try to improve D5’s scene capacity.

Hi mate, we also have a new beta version of D5 Converter for SketchUp now, which should fix the problem you encountered.
If you need it, please download and install this one:
