Black Screen Issue

FGood morning,
On the other hand, and regarding the functioning of the program, when I do the final rendering of an image, it is washed out in the folder and looks completely black. This had never happened to me before and is a serious problem for my presentations. It also happens to me in some files that from SketchUp .SKP when I import them the working screen remains black too.

Please if you can give me an answer to the pressing and then the second problem please.

Thank you very much.

Hi @emilisanchez

I apologize for the inconvenience. Does this only happen on this specific file? Or specific scene in this particular file?

  • Can you try to optimize your SketchUp Model and perhaps reduce its polygons?
  • Is it possible for you to send us your D5 Render File and Logfile? You may send it to support@d5techs.com and have it titled ‘Clov - Forum Black Screen Issue’

Good morning,
I have sent, I think correctly, the files you asked for to the support email.
Please let me know if you find the problem as soon as possible,
Thank you very much,

Hi @emilisanchez

We appreciate you sending these files. For optimal compatibility and to avoid potential data corruption, we require the entire D5 folder to be compressed into a single zip file. Please resend your project in this format. Sending individual files can lead to issues opening the project on our end.

We await your response with the zip file so we can test it right away. Thank you.

Hi @emilisanchez

We’ve successfully downloaded the files after you granted us access. The result on our end is also the same, rendering the scenes to seem to yield a Complete Black Image. Our test engineer has started to investigate and find out the issue and hopefully we can fix this as soon as possible.

[Update]
We were able to pinpoint the cause of the issue, which is this specific SKP Model: SALA-terrassa-cortina-taules.skp. It would be best for you to send this particular SKP file so we can identify why this is causing a problem.

  • If you’re facing a tight deadline, we encourage you to try reloading this model quickly using either our Livesync plug-in or by exporting it as a .d5a file. However, to help us thoroughly investigate the underlying cause of this issue, we would still prefer it if you could also send us the original SKP file. Thank you.
