Hi,
While using D5 Render, I frequently experience temporary black artifacts that partially obscure the viewport. These appear as large scattered dark patches rather than a full-screen overlay and disappear after a few seconds. Has anyone encountered this issue or found a fix?
My PC is a laptop XMG with 32 Go RAM, Nvidia RTX 4080 12 Go, Intel i9 13900HX 24/32.
Thank You !
Hi @fchapot
Sorry you’re running into this. To help us better understand and address the problem, could you please provide a screenshot or, ideally, a short screen recording showing the artifacts when they appear? This will allow us to see exactly what’s happening and guide you toward the most effective solution. Thank you
Hi ela, thank for your reply.
I’m really sorry — I think I may have found the issue. Could it simply have been the clouds enabled in my scene passing in front of the sun? It seems that since I disabled them, the problem has disappeared.
Hi @fchapot
Thank you for the update. It could very well be that the clouds passing in front of the sun were causing the issue. Since the problem disappeared after disabling them, that seems likely — although I can’t be completely certain without seeing the scene. I appreciate you letting us know, and I’m glad it’s working better now. Let me know if you encounter anything else.
