Big urgent problem - very large scene in totally misaligned delivery. 3ds max 2023, big problem with customer is created. i can't deliver

I know, I’ve already seen your fix related to the link, but it’s not absolutely clear what I have to do in order not to throw away the scene, which was finished and is also a huge scene, with interiors and exteriors of a residence, lots of plants, models imported, asset, path, there’s everything possible in this scene…and now it’s a total mess.
The scene gave no problems until April 1, so everything was already updated to version 2.4.
I then had to fix some modeling things, hence the very bad situation where today the scene is to be thrown away.

I can open it on April 1, but I can’t update it anymore with the modified 3D S max 3D model.

You can see a scheme to fix it, but it’s not absolutely clear in detail, so please explain step by step what you can do to fix it.

I would like to avoid creating new groups, I already have a lot of them.

The computer has a 3090 with amd 5950X, and the scene is huge but I can handle it.

I hope this is the last time problems like this happen, today I had a delivery and I’m forced to work on the old version as the new one is unusable.

EXPLAIN IN DETAIL WHAT needs to be done in 3DS MAx on the coordinates, and then explain what to do in D5 Render.

I’m very angry about this thing, I’m wasting a lot of time.

Hi mate, sorry to hear that you ran into the problem. To confirm, the problem happened when you opened the scene file or after you sync-ed the model again in 2.4?
Besides, it had no problem when using 2.3, or using 2.4.0?
If the file can work well in 2.3, please back up the project files first, then install D5 Render 2.3 on your computer and work on the files again.

Can you show me a screenshot of the scene file? we may need to see whether the models rotated or are misplaced. Also, you can try using the Auto-saved version history to recover the file. D5 Render | Auto Save & View history versions - YouTube

Don’t unbderstand, plese explain me step by step.

Problem is big.

Sorry for that,

  1. Please back up your files first.
  2. To confirm, the model was imported from 3ds Max through D5 Converter, right?
Recently we released a new version of 3ds Max plugin, and it has two sync methods:

If you are using files from last version, then you should choose compatible mode (the second one).

Sorry that we cannot know how your models are misaligned without a screenshot, can you send us one, or send the scene file to us for recovery? Please back up your files in case you need to revert to the old version.
