Benchmark error - D5 is not installed

Receiving this error when running d5 benchmark :

Hi @Pianoman, Have you tried running the benchmark tool with administrative privileges? I also recommend saving the file on the same local drive where D5 is installed.
What version of D5 do you currently have?

I run as admin, same error : “please instal D5 render”
Copied the file in drice C
I run 2.10 version

Hi @Pianoman Kindly download a new benchmark file and try again. Please select the unblock option in the security settings.

To access the benchmark tool, visit the website; System Requirements | D5 Render

Just built a new PC along with a fresh Windows install and the benchmark gives me this error as well. Run as admin didn’t work. Also ran it from within the D5 installation location of my SSD - didn’t work.

Edit: I unzipped the download and was able to run the scene separately through the D5 Launcher like any other project. But no “benchmark” functionality.

Hi @tim1

Which version of D5 did you reinstall? You may try to download the full package in this link: Download Package

The one listed on the downloads page. It’s the latest version.

Edit: Uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked. I suspect initially installing D5 as Admin was the issue, as this time I did not and let it install to AppData.

Alright, thanks for updating us.
