I have an issue here.
Long story short, my teams and I were working on a server, there’s an error on the server due to full storage (we would get it fixed soon.) though. we could still access the file and view the D5 with no issue.
The issue came when I accidentally saved the file. suddenly, all my assets are gone, materials, foliage settings.
But it is still shown on the scene as if nothing change.
Is this a burn? am I screwed? or will all my settings, foliage and assets return once I fix the server issue?
Thank you for the detailed explanation. Based on similar cases, this usually happens when a project is saved while the storage location (like a server or network drive) is full or temporarily inaccessible. But we need to check a few things first:
Was the project saved directly on the server/network drive, or locally?
Did you receive any error message during the save process?
Have you tried opening a previous version using View History Version in D5 Launcher?
If you copy the entire project folder to a local drive and open it from there, do the materials reappear?
If the issue is only due to broken asset paths, your settings may revert once the storage issue is resolved or the paths are corrected. However, if the file was partially overwritten due to storage being full during saving, some data might not be recoverable.
Please check the points above and let me know the results. I look forward to your reply.
