ArhciCAD to D% Black and glitchy model import

I am having problems importing from ArchiCAD getting a black and glitchy model only. I tried reinstalling D5, Reinstalling the d5 export addon, reinstalling my rtx 3080 laptop drivers, repairing my archicad file… nothing works. So at the moment i am exporting from ArchiCAD to FBX and that is working. Also the ArchiCAD file size is 1.2gb, which is not that big of file for the projects i am working on… maybe there is a size limit that can work for D5?

Any ideas why?

  • Can you send us a screenshot of what it looks like after importing or using the Livesync?
  • Does hiding the specific model in D5 resolve the issue?
  • Please try to delete the model in D5 Render, then resync it again or import it again.
  • Please try to optimize your archiCAD file and see if there are any differences
