When I change my Archicad model, it does not update in D5 even though I run the synchronise command.

Hi mate, did you install the new version of D5 Converter for Archicad, along with D5 2,4?
Please install that then check the result:
D5 Render for Archicad | Archicad Real-Time Rendering Workflow
