I’m experiencing the same problem. If I change to rx9070 and do 4k video rendering, the program shuts down.
Please tell me the solution
Hi @sonic2082
I apologize for the inconvenience.
- Does this issue only happen to a certain specific file?
- Or is it evident on all of the files?
- Does the crash only happen when rendering a video to 4k? How about rendering it in lower quality?
Additionally, can you please snd me the following:
- VRAM - Please open your D5 Render File while checking this portion then take a screenshot, then send it to us.
- Memory Speed
Hi @sonic2082
Is this file perhaps heavy? Based on the images that you have sent, your GPU numbers are quite maxed out, which may have been caused by heavy assets.
I recommend optimizing your file by:
-
Organize your assets based on how they are seen in each scene; you may hide assets that are not necessarily evident from specific angles.
-
Temporarily Disable Path Tracing and try to render again if the crash still occurs. Path Tracing will increase GPU or VRAM Consumption since it will have a more accurate calculation of light.
-
Disable Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling.
When I tried it with the method suggested above
My computer stops without turning off
Hi @sonic2082
Do you perhaps mean that the crashing has stopped? Based on the description you’ve provided before, it only crashed D5 Render, and there were no system or device shutdowns that were involved.
- If there were any Device Restart or Shutdown involved, then I would also like to recommend updating your BIOS and Windows System for this.
- Additionally, we would like to test it on our end and see if the issue is also evident on our end. You may send this specific file to support@d5techs.com and have it titled 'Clov-AMD RX9070 4k Video Render Crash’
