Ai Post Processing Issue

I’m having an issue after rendering an image and clicking on the “AI Post-Processing” button. It comes back as not finding the image. I have verified that the image is, in fact, in the folder. When I click on the “Open Folder” button it opens the C: drive folder rather than the folder the image is saved to.

Hi, I apologize for the inconvenience, Have you renamed the rendered images before using the AI Enhance feature? You can rename it to its original name or what the History Tab recognized the file. I hope this helps let me know if it works!

I click on render, and it asks me where to save. I have both changed the name and left it to the default. It renders and saves the image to the folder I chose. I then click the “AI Post -Process” button and I get the result I shared in the original post. I’ve restarted D5 but am still getting the same result.

After further testing, it appears that if I select any resolution preset, the AI Post-processing doesn’t work. If I leave it unselected it works as expected. Is this normal? I would prefer to render out a higher resolution image.

Hi there. In the new 2.9 version, the AI Post Processing has increased the support of image resolution up to 6k. May I know which of the buttons have you selected? The first one is the AI Enhancer tool which generally enhances the entirety of the image while the second one is the Effect and is more focused on specified content. You may need to select the portion of the image inorder to proceed if you are using the Effect

Just to clarify, the error prompt “Image not found at the specified location. Please choose another.” is evident when you click on the image resolution. And if you leave it blank the error prompt will not appear? Thank you

Hi all. I have the same problem. My AI post-processing doesn’t work. I tried the suggestions, but they do not work either. Please help.

Hi @nastiavbg, sorry for the inconvenience, the issue with the AI enhancer may be related to your network connection if you have tried other tips in this thread. Are you able to use the AI Enhancer on other projects or is this an issue with all projects? Are you able to access the Asset Library and D5 Studio?

Could you please run a network test on the D5 client to confirm your network connection. I would also recommend trying another network such as your mobile hotspot to see if there is any improvement.

There is a workaround: render the image by pressing the “add to render queue” button, after you render it from the render queue menu, then if you move your cursor above it a small “AI” logo will appear. If you click it it will guide yout to the AI post process tab for that image!

Hi. I wanted to confirm that this does work. Hopefully, an actual fix will be coming soon?

Hi there,

Can you confirm if you have administrator rights of the folder where the final rendered image was stored? Can you also provide the following information:

  • Email Address
  • Your Region

It seems to be working now. After I tried the workaround, it started working using the render button. I don’t know why. I do have admin rights to the folder where I save the renders.

Hi there,

Thank you for updating us. However, we do want to get the root cause of the issue that you are experiencing.

  • Can you perhaps record a video of the process that you have done in which the issue was evident?
  • As mentioned earlier, can you provide us with your Email Address and Region?

Thank you.
