Hi! Maybe refer to this post. D5 Render 2.8 | AI Enhancer, Semi-transparent Effect, Sunlight Caustics, Vectorworks&Rhino LiveSync - YouTube
AI Enhancer related content from the 30th second onwards.

Hi everyone,

Has anyone found a workaround to have more precise control over what elements get enhanced with the AI enhancer? I really like the results so far, and I’ve been using the AI rendering channel, but it’s hard to selectively control what gets enhanced.

For example, in my case, the entire building is enhanced, but I’d prefer to exclude the windows since the AI tends to distort them.

Any suggestions? Or would it be best to render one version with the AI enhancer and another without, then merge them in Photoshop?

Hi there I apologize for the inconvenience. Would you mind showing or uploading the image of the before and after results of the project that you are currently working with? AI Enhancer distorting the reflection of the window or such is not ‘natural’ this could be a bug and I would like to assess it further.

Additionally, you might want to try to use the AI Enhancer with the specified content to enhance the building or perhaps you have already tried it but it won’t detect the building and windows separately? Let me know, thank you.

Hi!

Sure,
Well here is the original:

And here AI enchanced:

I think it is very good, but I would prefer to keep the windows out of AI, so the lines remain sharp.

I tried to use AI enhancer with specified content, but is not possible to choose the building without the window or some other details …
It simply chooses the whole windows together with the building.

I would also like to keep some parts of the balcony out, but I can´t choose it as it is too detailled.

Here for example the lady loses the bottom part of the body and the zip line holding the balcony is too distorted.

So, since I want to choose a few very specific details, it would be best to render some parts seperatly and join them in photoshop, right?

Hi there. Thank you for providing these screenshots. I think this will be a great reference on what we can work on and fix for the AI Enhancer feature since some elements were greatly modified after the process.

As for your suggestion to merge the before and after images in Photoshop, I think that’s a viable option since you can choose which parts to retain and erase. Again, I do apologize for the inconvenience and rest assured, I will be conveying this to my team. Thank you

This sounds good thank you!

I think it would be great, if we could more detailly choose which building parts should AI enchancer affect and which ones not. I would simply not choose the windows then.
I ll use photoshop for now
