I’m not very knowledgeable on these things so forgive me if this is a silly question.
I’d like to use the Style Transfers on most projects but they currently take too long as the process requires scenes to be rendered first when the preview screen image would be more than adequate for the creation of “sketchy” concept images - is it not possible to omit the rendering stage for them?
Hi there no worries. Indeed, rendering the image first is a pre-requisite requierment for the AI Enhancer feature. Have you tried turning on your D5 SR Image Rendering widget? This can speed up your rendering time although it sacrifices a tiny amount of quality. You might want to try it out, thank you.
Hello, yes I already use that widget. It justs seems like an unnecessary step to upscale the preview image by rendering it to then massively downscale it by turning them into “pencil sketches” etc. I have previously used Fotosketcher to achieve a similar effect and that could be done from a simple screenshot rather than a render in far less time.
