I’ve been using D5 Render for a while now and I’m really impressed by its real-time rendering performance – it’s fast, smooth, and delivers high-quality results.
However, I’ve noticed that the “AI Enhancer” feature tends to run quite slowly compared to the rest of the software. While the rendering process itself is excellent, the AI enhancement step feels sluggish and takes longer than expected.
I’m wondering:
Are there any tips or tricks to improve the speed or performance of the AI Enhancer?
Could this be related to hardware limitations, or is it more of a software-side issue?
Is anyone else experiencing the same?
And finally, are there any upcoming updates planned to optimize this feature?
Any insights or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!
The AI Enhancer or AI Tool in general is reliant on your internet connection. If there are fluctuations and some significant slow downs on your end, it will greatly affect the loading time. Please try to:
Connect to a different network to test, you can use Mobile Data.
Try using a VPN if there are any differences.
Restart your Internet Connection
Additionally, we did have a minor issue last weekend regarding the AI Tools which were immediately repaired.
I’ve checked my internet connection as you suggested – I’m on a stable fiber connection (200 Mbps), and I don’t experience any other slowdowns in other online applications.
However, the issue with the AI Enhancer persists: when I launch any AI generation, the loading sometimes gets stuck or takes an unusually long time to complete.
Could this be related to:
Server-side congestion? (since you mentioned a recent issue last weekend)
Or maybe regional server issues?
Is there any recommended way to diagnose whether it’s on my side or D5’s servers?
Also, are there any upcoming updates planned to optimize AI performance?
Do you have any estimate of how long it takes for the AI Enhancer tool to load on your end? We can have a quick test and compare the numbers on my end. It could be related to server-side congestion, but on my end, it loads normally, and it does not take too long or longer than 2 minutes.
Were you able to test it by connecting to another network?
What is your account’s email address?
Additionally, yes, there are plans for optimizing AI Performance when it comes to the overall result of the image. Or are you perhaps pertaining to the speed instead of the quality?
Currently, the AI Enhancer is stuck again, and we are working to repair it as soon as possible.
Since around 5 PM today, I’ve been trying to enhance some images with the AI Enhancer, but it just stays stuck loading indefinitely. Even after waiting for a long time, it never finishes, and eventually, in the “Tasks” bar, the image I wanted to enhance does not appear at all.
So it’s not just that it takes longer than 2 minutes – it simply doesn’t complete the process.
I have not yet tested with another network, but as I mentioned, I have a very stable 200 Mbps fiber connection. Should I still try with mobile data or a VPN?
Also, just to confirm, I’m referring to the speed / loading issue, not the quality of the enhancement.
Do you think this could be a server-side issue, or something wrong with my account?
Previously it took 2 hours (Last July 12, 2025) to restore, but we cannot say if this will be the case today. Rest assured we will do our best to resolve this issue within the day.
Yes, I can confirm that this issue happens every time I try to use the AI Enhancer.
I just tested it again after your latest fix, but unfortunately, the percentage does not move at all, and after some time, the task simply disappears from the Tasks bar.
I really need this feature for an urgent project, so any solution or workaround would help a lot.
Alright, you did mention that you have a stable internet connection, but I would still want you to test:
If connecting to another network will yield the same result. You can try using Mobile Data or use a VPN, this is just to confirm whether the issue stems on your network or on the device.
Another suggested solution is to try the following:
Try modifying the save location of these images; you can try it on your desktop. Issues may arise if you don’t have full control over the folder where you plan to put these upscaled images.
I hope it’s okay to butt in. But we’re also experiencing this since 6 hours ago. Slept on it to just continue the AI part this morning, but it still does not work now. Is this an ongoing issue? I just have some urgent jobs I need to finish
I apologize for the inconvenience. We restored it an hour ago, there might be some slow downs because of the amount, please wait longer. I tested it on my end and it was successful, the amount of AI Processes should be stable as the day goes by.
