I have a problem using AI Enhancement
Image size 4k It’s very slow.Slow both when calculating images and when downloading 1 image, almost 40 minutes. But the rendering speed is normal.

i5-10500
RTX4070
RAM32

Is it related to HDD capacity? Because when I use it to plant a lot of trees, my hard disk will be full.

I just used the “AI Enhancer” yesterday and today. Unfortunately there is no improvement. The download of the image is still very slow.

Does this issue only happen when using AI Enhancer? Does it also happen to other features that require network connectivity (e.g AI Atmosphere, Text to 3D etc)?

How long did it take to download one enhanced image?

I just rendered a 4k image and enhanced it with AI Enhancer. The AI ​​calculation took 5 minutes and 35 seconds. The download took over 22 minutes. It’s not because of my internet connection. It’s fast. The download should normally take a few seconds.

Now that I’m using it, it’s still slow. Loading image files was slow. 1 image used AI and downloaded more than 1 hour, but the rendered image took less than 3 minutes.

After that, there will be a preview of the images. It will gradually preview from top to bottom. This part takes more than 40 minutes and downloading images also takes a long time. It is a problem during the evening time in Thailand.

yes, enhancement process is fast (few minutes). Only the download times is very slow (see my screen shot)

I am usually working between 6 am and 10 pm (europe gtm time) and it is always slow :frowning:

I noticed something strange. For the first time, the download was finished after a few seconds.
As soon as the download started in the “Preview”, I clicked “Enhancement Tasks” and then on download. The image downloaded quickly. But the image in the preview still took a long time to load.

Update: The chance that it will work this way is 50%. Sometimes the download is quick, other times it is very slow.

Does the slowness only happen when using AI Enhancer? Does it also happen to other features that require network connectivity (e.g AI Atmosphere, Text to 3D etc)?

  • Besides, what’s the resolution? Do you have lots of images in your enhancement tasks list?

But at home the OSS speed is much faster and the download of the AI ​​images is still slow.

The resolution I create is 2k or 4k. AI Atmosphere needs only few seconds to apply. Text to 3D needs about 2-3 minutes to create something like this:
