[3.1.0] Account signs out when opening a model — cannot log back in (Bad Request / Unknown error)

Was fixed for me yesterday, but dead again today…?

Hi @ume

Is it showing the same error prompt? Can you send us a screenshot?

Please send me your logs if the issue persists, since we fixed it yesterday.

Hi Clov, Address to send the logs please?

Hi @ume

Please send it to me directly here in the forum via private message.

  • If you’re in a deadline, it may be best to revert back to the previous version for now as we are still working for a fix for this issue.

D5 Render Version: 3.1
Graphics Card: RTX 3080 ti
Driver Version: 596.36
Issue Description:

Hello,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing to report a serious issue I’ve been experiencing with D5 Render over the past two days (yesterday and today).

My login keeps dropping repeatedly and without warning, forcing me to log in again multiple times throughout the day — including during renders, which causes the watermark to appear on the rendered image. This is very frustrating. This has significantly disrupted my workflow and is putting my project deadlines at risk, as I rely on the software daily for my work.

I would like to ask that this issue be resolved with urgency, as it is directly affecting my productivity and my ability to deliver projects on time.

I would also like to add that, as a user from Brazil, I pay for my subscription in US dollars, which makes the cost considerably high given the local economic reality. Considering this investment, I believe it’s fair to expect a stable and reliable service.

Please let me know what steps can be taken to fix this problem as soon as possible. I’m available to provide any additional information or logs that may help you diagnose the issue.

Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to your prompt response.

Hi @guilherme.weber @nameerbasheer1 @douglasdarocha

Please generate the log files and you may send it to me privately here in forum.

Just an update, I was able to log in on Sunday 19th for approx. 12 hours, then locked out again. Back on Yesterday for a few hours, then locked out again today. Have you guys managed to isolate what’s causing this behaviour yet?! I appreciate that you provided the download link for the previous version but the fact that 3.1 works now and then gives me hope that you will get this sorted soon…

Hi @ume

I provided you with a link to the newer version. I sent it a day ago; it’s not the previous version. Please try it and see if the issue persists.

Thanks for the replies, everyone.

But the solution actually came from D5 support — they sent me an update link:

I downloaded and updated it, and so far the issue has been resolved.

Hi @douglasdarocha

Thanks for the update. I’ve actually sent the link to everyone who was experiencing the issue, so it might be best to have the installer private for now since we will be releasing it as soon as possible (once we confirm that everyone experiencing the issue has already resolved it via the new version).

No luck for me when installing the new build this evening. I will send logs back to the support email.

Same happenign with me. Its really annoying. Can not render at all. its logging out again and again by itself

Hi @ume @m.raufashraf

I have sent you both private messages regarding Remote Access. Please check them and reply privately.

Hi @Clov,

I have the same issue after updating to D5 Render 3.1.0 .

System:

  • Windows 11 25H2
  • NVIDIA RTX 4090
  • D5 Render 3.1.0

After the update, D5 either won’t let me log in or logs me out unexpectedly. The D5 Launcher works normally.

I tried downloading D5 Render 3.0.1.0683 , but the WeTransfer link has expired and shows “No files” .

Could you please provide a new official download link for D5 Render 3.0.1.0683 ?

D5 Render 3.1 - Account logs out automatically when opening any project (Cannot log in: “Bad Request” / “Unknown error”)

D5 Render Version: 3.1.0
Operating System: Windows

Issue

After updating to D5 Render 3.1 , my account is automatically signed out every time I open a project.

The launcher shows that I’m logged in, but as soon as the render engine finishes loading the model, D5 logs me out. Once inside the application, I cannot log back in.

Login attempts always fail:

  • Email + Password → Red banner: “Bad Request”
  • Google Login → Red banner: “Unknown error”

Both methods fail consistently. Screenshots are attached.

Troubleshooting already performed

  • Completely uninstalled D5 Render.
  • Manually deleted:
    • %APPDATA%\D5Render
    • %LOCALAPPDATA%\D5Render
    • Temporary folders.
  • Performed a clean reinstall.
  • Ran D5 both as Administrator and as a normal user.
  • Opened the project from inside D5 instead of double-clicking the file.

None of these steps solved the issue.

Similar report

This appears to be the same issue discussed here, where the D5 team mentioned they had received similar reports and were investigating:

“Can’t log in with 3.1”**

Files attached

  • Log file generated with Collect Logs
  • Screenshots of both login errors

Request

Could you please provide a download link for D5 Render 3.0.1 ?

I currently have active client projects and need a temporary workaround while this issue is being investigated. I can install version 3.0.1 in a separate directory.

Thank you in advance.

Hi @jair_eduar @jmilomtz.2134

We’re currently investigating and fixing this issue. If you’re on a deadline or in a hurry to use D5 Render, I advise reverting to 3.0.1 for now.
