We are excited to announce the launch of Volume 4 of the D5 Asset Library’s Global Plant Collection, which includes over 260 new original animated plant models. This update features 61 different species, focusing on common plants from Asia while also accommodating global landscape design needs.
The collection covers a wide range of plant types, including ornamental grasses, flowering herbs, broadleaf trees, flowering trees, and shrubs. Watch our animation to see how these plants can bring your atriums, resorts, and villas to life, sparking your next great design idea.

Grasses and Herbs

New additions include ornamental grasses such as foxtail fern, stonecrop, golden-hair fern, bromeliad, and golden sweet flag; flowering herbs like April night sage, creeping phlox, wood sorrel, salix and hosta; and other herbs such as moneywort.

This category now includes plants such as tri-color willow, golden privet, and encore azalea. Among these, plants like the paperbush and American witchhazel offer materials for different seasonal flowering periods.
The regular shrubs are ideal for creating structured borders, while the flowering shrubs add a more natural, informal feel to your designs.
