2.11 D5 do not allow editing the workspace position


Hello everyone, I wonder if anyone has encountered a situation like mine where I cannot change the workspace location in the install & storage section. I have two computers, and both are experiencing this issue. On one computer, I can click the change location icon, but when I press the relocate button, the location reverts back to the original position. On the other computer, I can’t even select the change location icon. I hope someone in the community can help me. Thank you everyone.

I have the same issue. Is there a solution to this?
I need my D5 workspace to be in my Documents section so that OneDive is backing up my work. Lumion had their work file in the Documents section and that worked well for OneDrive backup.

This issue was caused by the launcher version itself; no matter which file path is being assigned, it still shows the error before, and now it has already been fixed.

  • How about your launcher version? You may want to redownload it from our official website just to ensure that you’re running the latest one.
  • Do you have full folder control of your Documents section? Please check.
  • Does having it assigned to another location still have this error? Or only to this specific path?
