When will the d5 render 1.8 update be available?

I am a user of version 1.71 of the d5 rendering pro.
using a d5 render well. And I’m really waiting for the 1.8 version to come out.
When will the d5 render 1.8 update be available?

I ask the same question too. Few people have shown several videos on YouTube made with the 1.8, but as far as I know no beta program is available to users. Why some users are allowed to test a beta version while keeping the rest of Pro users in the dark?
Anyone from the D5 Team can to tell when the next version will be out and if there will be a properly working 3dsmax live link ?

Im nôt from D5, but as far as I know 1.8 should be around end of january…

That is good to know a new version is on its way. Can we PLEASE PLEASE have round edges!?

I use D5, Lumion and Vray 5.

I have requested this before. Current starting on a new large live project in London and would like to use D5 but then I have to do destructive model to give all the geometry round edge for realism. Problem is this is not a once of visual presentation but a ongoing development of the design that will stretch probably till the end of the year.

When the different design stages unfolded it would be good to work on one master model file and apply round edges in materials rather then in the modeling. Greats allot of extra work.

If not I will have to use Vray/Lumion. But would love to do this all in D5.

Would love to see this as well soon! Round edges does give the renders a sense of realism!
