The title is pretty obvious. The problem is that D5 doesn’t know if the file has been changed or not since the last time it was saved. For instance, when I save the project, and I try to close the file, it always asks me do you want to save or not, when in reality it should just close the file without popping up the save dialogue.
Yes, the downside is that you have one more click to make.
The advantage is that it avoids closing by mistake without saving.
Everyone will have a different opinion on what’s best.
I am not saying taking out the “do you want to save” option all together when closing file. My issue is with this scenario:
I ve been working in a D5 File, I save the file. after saving without doing anything, I try to close the file, then D5 asks me if I want to save? My issue is that there has been no changes and D5 should go ahead and close the file, if I had made changes, then it should ask me do you want to save.
