*Description of the work: I just started a renovation project of an apartment in Merano, Trentino Alto Adige, Italy.
The apartment of about 70sqm will be completely renovated in finishes, interior division, furniture, lighting.
In the entrance corridor there is a marble floor that will be maintained. The remaining floors will be covered with a cement resin by Kerakoll Design House.
Starting from the existing marble floor, I have considered to exploit the color to propose neutral flooring in the remaining rooms and use the ceiling in a mirror way, working with walls and furniture to introduce darker colors and more material finishes.
The furniture deliberately uses Rimadesio systems to increase the perception of depth of the rooms, entering with the flooring in all the wardrobes and using glass and reflective materials to visually increase the space.
The kitchen is designed to exploit the space and make it functional, managing both appliances and creating space for storage and living area. The kitchen is inserted in an openspace. The central round table is convenient for free seating and all the lighting in the project is hidden in the ceilings or is minimal.
In the coming days I will start the transfer in D5 and apply all the materials and render. I hope to be able to create some interesting videos to upload on Insta.
I do not exclude to make some changes to the project if the photorealistic result is not satisfying.*
