Hi,
I am attempting to create an atmospheric effect, of the blue haze around the earth. I have tried transparent materials, cloth, water, and pretty much an/all others. The closest I can get is with the water material, and deleting the normal map, turning down the velocity to zero, and tweaking the depth so that the density only increases the more oblique the angle. However, as you can see, there is this weird diagrid artifact that shows up as a cast shadow onto the earth’s surface below it. I included two images, one with it turned on, one with it turned off. The model is made with three spheres; one for the water and land, one for the clouds, and one for the atmosphere above. Any ideas on why this is happening, or a better way to great a blue glowing haze around the planet? thx…
