Hi, Firstly I really appreciate this excellent software, coming from V-Ray and Lumion the ability to achieve high quality results quickly is amazing.
These images were created using the free version as a test of the capabilities and features of the 1.7.1 bulid. As a result we will be buying the full version ASAP.
One suggestion for the development roadmap, can the materials palette (where you assign custom materials) be increased in size, or at least the ability to resize personally.
Hope you like the images, created from existing model in 2.5 hours with a small amount of post production (sharpening and vignette to outer edges). Render time using 2080Ti – 60 seconds for 4k, 90 seconds for 6k.
The scene is an FBX file, needed to re-texture as it came in with the textures missing. Have subsequently been looking at the Blender converter, which works ok, but all the materials were set to metallic so took a while to correct. I’m sure the guys will sort out the FBX import soon. Coming from Lumion it makes a big difference even if it’s just the albedo texture that’s imported.
