Hi everyone,

I’m happy to share my latest work a walkthrough of a beautiful villa created using D5 Render. I’ve tried to make it as realistic and detailed as possible.

Wow ! Amazing job! really !

I watched around 6-7 minutes of it and have lots of questions…lol

First of all, did you really set this all in one single clip in D5? it looks like it is one single clip.
How did you set shaky camera
How did you managed to control such a big scenery

Thanks a ton for the awesome feedback! I really appreciate you taking the time to watch and share your thoughts.

To answer your questions:

Did you really set this all in one single clip in D5?
Not really. I actually made this animation using 4 separate clips in D5 Render. Each clip is just one shot, and I made sure the end of one clip lines up perfectly with the start of the next so it looks seamless. After that, I put everything together in Adobe Premiere Pro for the final video.

How did you set the shaky camera effect?
I used the “PB Free Camera Shake Preset” in Adobe After Effects. It’s super easy to use and gives you a cool, realistic camera shake effect with hardly any effort.

How did you manage to control such a big scene?
I modeled everything in Revit and used live sync with D5 Render. At first, working on the interiors and lighting was smooth. But as I added more rooms, the files started to get bigger. No worries, though—D5 still handled the interiors and artificial lights fine. When I started with the exteriors, the real-time performance lagged a bit, so I switched to ‘precise to smooth’ mode, and it fixed the lag right away. For quality checks, I used the F12 preview, which made everything flow super smoothly.

If you’ve got any more questions, feel free to ask! I’m happy to share more about how I do things. Your support really means a lot!

Hallo there,
I do have mixed feeling about your work there. I really do like the one shot aspect of your work… And you really did put a lot of work in the main house and its lots of detail…
I find it a bit sad that after all the work put in the main project there is no surrounding
building which makes your presentation less believable. Quikly adding houses from google warehouse would have taken you a long way…
The second point of critic is that it si wayyyyy tooo looooong !!!
As a rule of thumb you should never show the same thing twice.
This would be my main critic here and a lot of time you do have really strong
flickering effect which is a no go for me.
Most architectural animations are between 1,30 to 4,00 minutes to the max.
I watched it till the end ( I really loved the last camera movement!) but in over all I lost
my interest really quick because of the repetitions. So you do have enough material
to make a condensed shorter version of it.
