Our firm V-ray license will be expired soon. We were about to switch to D5 render since the animation capability. However, we found out that D5 still doesn’t support 360 VR stereoscopic rendering. We use VR sets a lot for our presentations. Unfortunately, we have to stick with V-ray for another year.
Thank you for your advice, We will accelerate the pace of development to make D5 better, sorry for the inconvenience now.
Any updates on VR 360 stereoscopic rendering?
Currently, 360 rendering is available, but it is limited to monoscopic output and does not support stereoscopic VR. Demand for architectural projects compatible with VR headsets—especially Meta Quest 3—is steadily increasing, and clients are actively requesting this capability.
Although we achieve strong results on this platform, the lack of stereoscopic support is forcing us to either decline projects or shift to alternative solutions. This is becoming a growing challenge, so we kindly request that this be prioritized and worked on.
