Hi there,
I have been trialing D5 render recently and I’m looking to roll it out into my general workflow for production of architectural visualisations.
I currently run D5 render in SketchUp, with the following laptop spec:
NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU
11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz
16GB Memory
1TB SSD
The laptop runs D5 pretty well, but when I tested on a large SketchUp file (with multiple buildings and components), D5 started to slow down when moving around the model and general processing time felt a bit slow.
After looking on the website for system requirements, I note that it says an upgrade of RAM to 32GB could see an improved overall performance for my laptop.
Can someone offer me some technical advise on whether this upgrade is likely to provide a nice overall performance of D5 render? I would like to avoid purchasing another laptop for now, hence why I am looking at the option of upgrading the RAM instead.
Any advice on this would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Connor
