Hi there ! Could Water Material settings allow more realistic results for large scale water surface like lake or ocean ? Screenshots : 1. what I can achieve with custom material settings (but no velocity…) and 2. the best we can do with water material settings. That mountain reflection is to strong and not realistic…

Sorry, me again. Just providing a couple examples of some other renders from different artists through other render engines, that I’d love to be able to create similar images with in D5. The last image (the tropical very blue water with rocks), is one I’ve made with D5 to the best of my ability with the current water. The reflections are too perfect, and when lowering the specular to avoid this, you then see through the water too easily. Cheers.
