Hello , the scatter tool in 2.7 is amazing but not everything is easy and clear about it, we need a full tutorial for how to use the scatter tool
one of the things that i couldn’t do is to subdivide an area to more than sub area such as the templates , and what does the seed do?
there are some stuff that really need to be explained.
I hope there will be a tutorial video for it soon 
in the YT video of yesterday they said it will be coming.
i also need it.

Also I have some problems with the division areas with the new scatter tool.
In this link have a easy explication about how to do this.
you should to have a color map to made this division.
the division works with the colors in the image map. If you image have two colors, you don´t made a division for three or more subareas.
