Often times I would select an asset to use only to find out that it’s not the size that i expected. I get that I can scale it, but it would be very nice if there would be a human scale figure beside every asset so I can quickly see how big the asset is before I select it.
Some issues that this would solve on my end would be:
- When it comes to vegetation, most of the assets don’t have scale figures, so I would select a tree only to find out its way too big/small and so I’d end up having to trial and error finding the proper tree for my project
- Couple days ago I was trying to get a king sized bed and since the tags for the assets aren’t that great yet, and at a working scale on a monitor, it’s a bit hard to tell if I have a double bed/queen/king bed selected.
It takes about a second or two to load the asset and a couple clicks to fully select the asset, so a simple scale figure in each thumbnail would streamline the workflow by a lot in my opinion.
