This is an important function, because now it has to be set separately for each project, and it takes a long time for more complex presets.
Is there really no option to save a custom scatter preset in version 2.7?
Is there a possibility to copy a scatter other than appointing the same material to a surface? Until now, I didn’t manage to find both options…
If not, big vote from me for the possibility to save a custom scatter preset, because it’s essential for workflow…

Unfortunately, there is no such option at the moment. 
That’s a shame, as it would improve the workflow considerably. But the way I see it, the D5 team will soon give us the option to save presets. 
I brought this up to staff shortly after the release and they said they plan on adding this feature in the future. Definitely will help having it so we can quickly apply them to different projects.
