Running out of memory after updating Rhino

I was told to make a topic in hear regarding my pc running out of VRAM after updating rhino to 8.8+

To understand the context I have been doing these two topics on D5’s and Rhino’s forums:

Hi @Leah_Li Thank you for your response. First of all i have the latest Sync plugin for R8, and it Work in Rhino 8.5. I did a similar post on Rhino’s forum yesterday and they sent me all Rhino versions from 8.5 to 8.11 to test. I used 2 hours this morning to test all the different version to troubleshoot in which version this happens. I did the test with the same model for all of the verions. I have tried opening other files in D5 to check, and the problems doesnt occur in other files… Its is just strange that the test-file works in Rhino 8.7 but not in Rhino 8.8

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks for testing again and you found it’s a problem with specific scene files.

I came across you in another post, and you clarified that you are suffering from issues with the latest Rhino 8 SR9. I contacted you through a private message, could you please check? We hope to check your environment remotely if it’s convenient for you.

Rhino Livesync - Materials lost

Hi I am facing some simlilar issues I updated to Rhino 8 SR9 today as well, and was facing some issues with rhino mapping lost and d5 and Rhino was running very slow. Had to roll back to an earlier rhino version for it to be fixed. i didnt have so much time for troubleshooting because of a deadline. But i think it has to do with the latest rhino update.
