I’m working with a huge file, a neighborhood (10km2) with several buildings, trees and bushes, my video card is the RTX2070 8gb with AMD Ryzen 9 3900X and 64Gb RM processor, I would like to know if you guys advise using the 24gb rtx3090 card .
24gb rtx3090 is able to load much bigger scenes than RTX2070 8gb
More vram more performance:).
Nevertheless I would use low/medium poly plants and objects (even from 3dwarehouse) for aerials and high for closeups + organized groups in D5. If the workflow is correct 2070 will handle this project. You can start from creating large scale scenes and end up with closeups. Furthermore you can save each set of scenes individually depending on context.
