Rhino crashes after trying to sync with d5

**D5 Render Version:2.11.1.0623
**Graphics Card: RTX 5090
**Driver Version: 32.015.9159
**Issue Description:

I am using Rhino 8, and when I try to sync a file with D5 Render, Rhino crashes and the sync never completes. Also all my graphics drivers and NVIDIA drivers are up to date.

To reproduce the issue:
Whether there is a model in the Rhino file or not, I simply click the Sync button. After choosing Create New Project, D5 launches, and at that moment Rhino crashes immediately. Nothing is transferred to D5, regardless of whether the Rhino file contains geometry or is completely empty.

I have already tried the following:

  • Uninstalling and reinstalling D5 Render and D5 LiveSync
  • Restarting the system after reinstallation
  • Transferring the project to a new Rhino file

None of these steps solved the problem.

I also noticed many similar posts on this forum from users experiencing the same issue, but I couldn’t find a public solution. In those threads, it seems the replies were sent via private messages.

I would appreciate any guidance or a shared solution, as this issue currently makes it impossible to use D5 with Rhino 8.

Thank you.

Hi @omerfaruk.aktas231

Sorry to hear about this. Can you confirm what version of Rhino livesync plugin are you using currently?
