Revit won't export in any way

I have been attempting to export Revit model to D5 in many ways. No matter if I:

  • Purge the file
  • Export each link individually
  • Export in seperated pieces
    Revit will not export it. It gets stuck after asking for a save location, and never returns to normal function; eventually I have to force quit it.

Any help in understanding why this is happening would be appreciated!!

Please confirm the following:

  • Does this only occur in this specific file? Have you tried it with another Revit File? If this only occurs in this specific file, it’s best to send or forward this file to us for testing.

  • Are you able to launch D5 Render independently? Such as opening a Demo Scene File or an empty D5 File?

  • How about activating the plug-in instead of exporting it to separate pieces?

  • What’s your Plug-in Version? How about your D5 Version?

Hi!

It occurred with 3 other files for the same project.

I can launch D5 independently and it runs perfectly with Rhino.

Activating the plug-in resulted in the same crashing of the file.

Both D5 and the Plug-In are the most recent versions released, and I am working on Revit 2026.

In the end (and since the project was due at midnight), I had to export by category type into .da5 files, and rebuild the entire work inside D5 in order to render. This was super time consuming and quite inaccurate.

Below is a drive where you’ll see the file I wanted to use, and its linked files as well. What could I have done to make it work in D5 directly?
