Revit Live Sync Origin and Direction Improvement Needed

This is a concise request to a longer post I made about issues with the Live Sync feature between Revit and D5.

  1. The directions such as “top” or “front” in Revit and D5 do not match. Please allow adjustment or syncing within D5 to align to Revit’s environment.
  2. The North direction and geocoordinates set in Revit are also not aligned with D5 when using Live Sync. Please have Live Sync automatically adjust to the Revit settings rather than requiring a model or sun rotate.
  3. The Live Sync feature does not place the imported/sync’d Revit model at 0,0,0 within D5 and cannot be changed. The “sync coordinates” function only puts the model back to D5’s original location which cannot be adjusted. If the location that D5 chooses is not good for the workflow, this means that using the Live Sync function could result in the model shifting locations if the extents of the imported model change. Please allow for the import location to be changed and PERMANENT after import using Live Sync.
