Hi,

I’m a Revit and D5 Pro user, and I’m currently experiencing issues when exporting Revit models that contain linked files into D5 Render.

Could you please clarify the correct workflow to ensure that all linked models are properly recognized and displayed in D5?

We typically work on mixed-use building projects, where multiple team members develop separate models (architecture, structure, MEP, etc.) that are linked into a central/master file. I want to make sure that the full federated model—including all links—is correctly transferred to D5 without missing elements.

Any guidance on best practices or recommended setup for this workflow would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @alejandro1 do you currently have the D5 livesync installed?
You can use D5 livesync to import the linked models in Revit into D5

Yes, we are using D5 LiveSync and we’re able to sync the model. However, when the Revit file contains multiple linked models, not all of them appear in D5.
