Revit Crash with D5 plug in

Hi All,

New to D5. I have Revit 2026 with D5 plug in. When I select start D5 from plug-in drop down the program just freezes up. I am doing this from a 3d view. Below are my computer stats. Any ideas on why this is happening?

Processor: Intel Core Ultra 9 285k
Ram 64 bit
Graphics card: Nvidia 5080 16 gb

Your hardware specifications should be sufficient to run D5. To help us better identify the issue, could you please confirm the following:

  • What exact version of D5 are you using?
  • What version of the D5 Sync for Revit plugin is installed?
  • Are your NVIDIA GPU drivers updated to the latest version?
  • Does D5 Render open normally when launched directly, without using Revit?
  • Does the freeze occur with all Revit files or only a specific project?

If possible, please also share a screenshot or screen recording of what happens when you click Start D5.
