so, recently i hv been working with housing clusters projects, with 3DSMAX being our main modelling software, we have like 300 - 500 houses that needs to be rendered in d5, When we were working on D5 we found several problems:
- Placing vegetations in D5 sometimes is not good enough, we need to be precise especially in housing cluster project, after we carefully putting all the vegetations and assets in D5 for 1 house, when we need to copy them as a group to the next 500 houses, it can be a nightmare for several reason:

Copying these assets ( lights, vegetations, decals, paralax, etc) requires a precised copy that is not capable in current D5.

Some houses that we modelled mostly are arranged mirrored to on another (like when u have 2 houses back to back to each other), there is no function in D5 to “MIRROR” these assets all at once, so we ended up have to place them manually again for these mirrored housing units.

Copying all these groups with 50+ vegetation in 1 house to another 500 other houses cannot be done in an array fashion like some other 3d software
my solution to this are to create a “proxy” or “helper” objects in 3ds max, for example a BOX or POINT HELPER. that later can be replaced smartly in D5 (when i say smart, that means whenever i instance those proxy or helper inside 3dsmax, D5 can recognized them as instance of the previous helpers object).
would be a huge plus if these helpers can be replaced with several assets with probability. or D5 can recognize 3DSMAX SPLINE as the source of PATH TOOLS inside D5
please please please make this happens.
