Benefit of using Revit materials, is we can adjust the pixel size to real world sizes. This is very important in architecture as we deal with many materials that have a specific dimension to them, i.e. bricks, CMU blocks, metal and plastic siding etc. Having a scale slider takes too much time to adjust the material to the correct size and location. I feel like this should be standard but almost all rendering software has this feature missing.
Or, Improve the quality of textures being imported from software like Revit. It may not have every map available, but it has enough that it should be able to place those texture maps in the correct slot.
