Proxy for D5 render / Sketchup

The lack of an option to use proxies in D5 Render really feels like a missed opportunity. I see this feature being used a lot in other software, and it makes a huge difference in file size—for example with a SketchUp model. On top of that, it would be really helpful to be able to see the D5 assets you’re using back in SketchUp as well.
I think this could be a major step forward, and that more people would switch to D5 Render sooner because of it.

we have this already.
D5 crew should make a video of it.

How do you get the objects visible from D5 into Sketchup?
Also when I search online there is no information about Proxy.
I mean proxy like Enscape uses it

no,no…
the group components (proxies) replacement by d5 asset in a click is possible. i thought you was asking that. soprry about that

no Pro render software makes it possible to see render asset in skp.
(yes i do say that enscape is not a Pro render software, it is amateur)

It would be better to consolidate the discussion on this thread that’s already going on so that all the voices make louder noise to D5.
