Project size management

I just realized D5 creates huge folder sizes. One of my test projects is now 5gb. It is a big project but most of the assets are comming from Rhino project file and 5Gb is huge.

I understand d5 is based on Unreal and UE does work like this.

So, I’m wondering:
How to better manage this problem in the current D5 version?

What is essential in the project folder?
For example: I want to store a finished project but want to be able to access and possibly make changes in the future if the client needs it. How to keep this folder small but reusable?

Are there any planned updates to really handle this issue and not duplicate every asset in the folder?

hi, this might help for time being.

Thanks,
It reduced the file size by close half to 2.1 gb. A lot though but better than previously.
