PRO+ subscription

Good afternoon. This request has been made many times before, but I will raise the issue again. Please create a PRO+ subscription that includes working with panoramas, that new feature with transferring 3D Google maps to a project. Or allow one person to subscribe to Team. I am willing to pay more for a subscription, but not three times more than for PRO. Are we really asking for so much? Why are panorama features only included in the Team version? Is it so difficult that two people have to pay and do it together? Please meet your users halfway. Thank you.

YES YES YES! please consider this!

The 3D Google maps is a must, and should be available for all Pro users ( or maybe with some extra payments ). Otherwise I will switch to any of the competitors that offers the Cesium integration for a fair price.

I agree with this! I am the only visualization specialist at my architecture firm and we would be willing to pay a little more to have access to some of those features. Its just not feasible to buy a Teams license for just one person.

I also would like to have this option. I think it’s necessary for people who don’t have a team / organisation behind or with them but still would make use of the exclusive features. The Teams licence price point is too high for a solo effort.

Arguably, anyone here could team up and buy a D5 Teams license together — but that still doesn’t make it a good model. D5 Teams is built for actual teams, not for individual users who happen to know each other. The fact that Teams took features away from the Pro version is honestly the worst part.

It’s understandable that D5 wants to increase revenue — and I fully support that. I love D5. They absolutely deserve to grow and make more money. I’m even willing to pay more — as long as it doesn’t feel like a rip-off.

Let’s break users into groups:

  • Casual archviz enjoyers → Community version
  • Freelancers with 2–3 projects/month → Pro version (some still on Community)
  • Pro freelancers with high workload → Pro version
  • Small teams (who can work separately) → Pro version
  • Large teams (that actually need shared space/tools) → Teams version

The problem? Out of all these, only the last group really needs Teams. But everyone else still needs the features that are now locked inside Teams.

Right now, those features are being held hostage behind a license that isn’t designed for them. That’s a lose-lose situation.

I’ve actually asked for this in emails before — I’ve been suggesting a better middle-ground for solo professionals and small groups. So I’m really glad to see others here also mentioning a Pro+ tier. I think it makes total sense.

Something like: offer a limited version of those features in Pro, and unlock their full potential in Pro+. That way, Pro still feels complete, but Pro+ becomes a natural upgrade for those who need more — without forcing anyone into Teams.

This is healthier for the community, and better for D5 too.

I also love D5, but it’s incredibly frustrating that you would withhold valuable features that have nothing to do with working with a team. I’m a studio of 1 person, but XR Tours and Cesium features would be so useful to me. Please, please, please make these features a part of the PRO account!
