Overexposed plants

Hi,
I’m working on a file in D5 where I have large surfaces that need to be covered with plants. To achieve this, I’ve used the Scatter function to place them. The issue occurs when I render the images: all the plants appear very dark, and it’s hard to see what they actually are. It almost looks like they’re missing proper lighting or material settings.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? And do you have any suggestions or solutions to prevent the plants from appearing so dark in the final render?

Hi @asa

This is a known issue when using Scatter in D5 for vegetation: plants can appear very dark in final renders, even if they look fine in the viewport. Here’s a similar discussion on the forum for reference: D5 Vegetation is Too Dark.

You might want to try the following settings:

These adjustments usually help improve lighting and visibility of scattered vegetation in final renders. Let me know if these work for you. Thanks.
