This morning upon launching the D5 launching I was prompted to upgrade to the newest version. I did and when I wanted to connect my existing file to D5 (same rhino and D( files I had been using last week) rhino instantly crashed .
I updated D5 and rhino to their latest versions and the crash still happened . I tried to sync an empty rhino file (with just a cube in it) with the same D5 file and it worked . So it seems the problem is with the existing rhino file or because it is too large . However the previous version of livesync didnĂąt have that problem .
Is there a way to download previous versions of livesync ? specifically the 1.1.0 version . All I have is the “D5_Live_Sync_Rhino_usa_latest” which only installs the latest version . I donùt have time to try and rework the file altogether .
I’m experiencing a crash issue with the Rhino Live Sync feature in D5 Render.
D5 Render crashes whenever I use Live Sync mode and make real-time changes to my Rhino model. The only workaround I’ve found is to disable Live Sync and manually use “Sync Once” each time I need to update the model.
Version Information: Please see the attached screenshot for version details.
I would just like to clarify if this issue occurs with all of your files, regardless of whether it being too heavy or too small? Does it also occur in completely empty files?
May we request the following also:
The Rhino File that is causing the issue.
A video recording on your end (just in case we cant replicate it)
Thanks for the reply, I downloaded the newer livesync, version 1.1.2.0005, earlier this morning, and so far everything has been working i.e. no crashing.
