Native Transition/Hotspot Markers inside D5 for Virtual Tours

Hello D5 Team,

I would like to propose an improvement for the Virtual Tour workflow hosted on showreel.d5render.com.

The Current Problem:

Currently, linking panoramas (from different rooms with closed doors) requires manual editing in the online web tool after rendering is complete. This workflow has significant drawbacks:

  1. Time-consuming: We have to manually place hotspots to transition from one room to another through the door.

2,Occlusion/Visibility Issues: This is the biggest issue. When I manually place a hotspot on a door in the web editor, that icon is often visible from both sides of the door (even through the wall/geometry). This breaks immersion because you see “floating” icons from rooms where they shouldn’t be visible.

The Proposed Solution:

Please add a “Tour Transition/Link” tool directly inside the D5 Render desktop software.

-How it should work: We place a “Door/Transition Icon” in the 3D scene directly on the door opening. We link it to a specific Scene/Camera view.

-Automatic Export: When we render the Panorama sequence and upload it to the Showreel, D5 should automatically generate the connections based on these markers.

-Geometry Awareness: Since the marker is placed in 3D space, the engine should know to hide it if it’s behind a wall or a closed door (solving the visibility through walls issue).

This would drastically speed up the creation of complex tours and make the navigation feel much more professional.

Thank you!
