Hi all. I wanted to share with you my first exterior rendering with D5. Modeling was done with Blender and I did some post-processing in Photoshop & Lightroom.

Hi,
very good for the first rendering.
Here are a few suggestions:
Try to move the camera down (eye level)
Show more of the terrace, less of the sky.
The window glasses with more transparency, including light + a bit interior fittings.
Maybe some curtains.
The terrace with less reflection (too bright and smooth)
The wood texture lighter upstairs.
Check your light settings in clay mode. It works very well. Then fine-tuning with textures.
Atmosphere is the most important.
Mostly I do prefer the sun setting and not the hdri, because you can play better with the perfect sun light.
It is up to you.
Sounds like a lot, but it’s pretty quick.
Good luck.

Hi Flamingo.
Thanks for the suggestion. I will try to do some of the optimisations that you suggested.
I think a lot of it would improve if I modeled the interior of that space. Now I had to use dark windows so that the inside of the house is not visible which took away a lot from the “realism”.
But still, valid feedback. I will see what I can do
