Please keep the camera names when saving images.
it’s awful to have to rename manually dozens of images after a batch rendering. Why can’t D5 keep the camera names (what’s the purpose of naming them if D5 doen’t use them when saving the images?).
I get the interest of naming with the date and time stamp embedded but it’s a hassle to have to rename them manually afterwards.
The best solution would be to allow us to name the images with wildcards or presets category, like (filename) (camera name) (timestamp) (numerical)
I agree. So really this is a request for file token naming. We can base it off of properties like you mentioned.
When in the naming output field, these tokens could be used:
$ProjectName, $CameraName, $### (framenumber), $SceneName, etc…
