Please add option to rename materials or make option to not overwrite material name after loading it from Asset Browser
can u explain in sample scene. we have duplicate option to make copy material.

There is no way to change material name
this is important because if you assign new material from Asset Browser we have new name which is mostly times misleading if we had material name from imported model like “windows frame”
yeah there is no option yet.
could be handy when want to use same material with little tweak for multiple objects.
