Material "Node Wrangler"

Cauld you make tool like in Blender — Node Wrangler — in material previ.

Now you add texture eg. roughness and you can’t realy see it on object (sise, tile , ets)

it is hard to composite whole material

i’m afraid this is far to be implemented. now they must fix and add more basic options rather than this.

In Blender it is build in addon . it anables you to prev. each texture - and of course UV / scale / rotation / ewerything whot you can do with texture.

In D5 render its hard to see normal map or roughnes - when you put same imperfactions map for example. you cant see and put correct scale or rotation .

it shoud be abe to click on texture and see it od the object

Jessie - is there a chance for this improvement. still applying texture eg roughness I can’t see what I’m doing. I can’t see the scale or the distribution or rotation. I should be able to switch the view in real time for individual textures added on the object / not always normalmap, specular and roughness come from the same texture …

in order to be able to consciously add some imeprefions, scratches, reflections

not only UV and rotation but olso saturation , color of the map,

In order to control displacement , or roughness the D5 people shuld give us some “colorramp” for more flexibility in the non color texture ( roughness, glossy , bumpmap)

and, of course, a preview of individual maps (e.g. fingerprints on glass, water drops, floor scratches, dust, stains on the wall, footprints on the floor …)

how to e.g. make a good white wall? you should add reflections on it … (specular map) after all the paint does not cover the whole wall uniformly … ( may be some roughness mup ass well) you should add some bumps, some blemishes, scratches or paint pores (normalmaps, bump mups, displacement mups) and all these maps they can and tey should be different.

… but now you can’t see them … you can’t consciously choose good texture, color rotation, placement …

you cannot consciously make the visualization more real at this point
