Description of the work: Hello my name is Oscar Hernandez, I am an architect with a master’s degree in real estate feasibility, but throughout my career architectural visualization has always been important, I must recognize that in the evolution of my work I personally moved away for years in generating renderings on my own this time as a case study I generated these renders with a more photorealistic and cinematographic approach, previously I was a 100% user of 3ds Max and Vray, but this time I worked with an old model of an architecture competition which I modified in some aspects using Sketchup and D5 Render (I must clarify that it is the first time I use this program) the result of the images and the video are the work of a week.

Feel free to watch in 4k

Architecture: The concept of the project was to convey a sense of modern refuge in the midst of a challenging natural environment. The house seems to float on the mountainous terrain, with a structure that combines lightness and solidity. The warm lighting inside contrasts with the cold and humid atmosphere outside, evoking a cozy atmosphere. The geometric design and contemporary materials, such as steel and concrete, reinforce the idea of an architecture that integrates with the landscape without losing its modern identity.
This house does not impose itself on the environment, but embraces it with a floating design that generates lightness and sophistication.
The upper volume, clad in corten steel, contrasts with the glazed base, allowing light to become another architectural element. Inside, the warmth contrasts with the cold outside, creating a modern retreat in the middle of nature.

Nice render!
Is this a path tracer mode rendering?
I mean: the video? The images are path traced and it’s very good

Hi @julienfischel , thanks for your comment. These renders and video were not used in the path tracing update, as they were rendered a week before the update.

Hi @visualplus , thanks for your comment. In my personal opinion, any rendering engine is good if you know how to use it. The advantages of D5 Render are that it’s quite intuitive and easy to learn.

This is a architectural beauty. Love the composition of the building. Open base and a more closed upper volume.
The corten steel texture is spot on. How did you achiev this texture. I would be nice to share this on the the forum.
I will check some work of you, for sure.

Hello, thank you for your comments for the corten steel material I used textures from https://www.textures.com/ in high quality and with the ease of D5 Render to place the maps in the requested channels, the images specifically in corten steel have post-production in photoshop to give them a little more aging to the weather, also added a dirt map in PS.

I hope it is useful to you
Best regards

Thank you so much for your insight in this material.
